The best stories always come from adventure.

When a cautious writer decides to take his family to Paris, he realizes he’s just $600 short. To raise the money, his audience donates to twelve adventures they choose for him to accomplish once he gets there.

What follows is a series of uncomfortable, amusing, and sometimes life-threatening adventures in one of the most beautiful cities in the world. I find dead authors in Père Lachaise cemetery, perform a song and dance under the Arc de Triomphe, and get dangerously lost in the hundred miles of illegal catacombs sixty metres below the city.
